Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Cleo account and its data at any time. Here’s how.
If you’re already signed in
Open Settings → Delete account in the app or on the web. Deletion takes effect immediately and doesn’t require contacting us.
If you can’t sign in
Enter your account email below and we’ll send that address a secure sign-in link. Open it, then go to Settings → Delete account. We ask you to sign in first so that nobody can delete an account they don’t own.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your household’s records — your properties, maintenance history, financial details, uploaded documents, photos and video, intake answers, and your profile and login credentials.
Two things persist briefly afterward: encrypted backups, which expire on their own rolling schedule, and any records we’re required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. Neither is used to rebuild your account, and both age out automatically.
